Original Site Banner
This was the original header that appeared at the top of the site. It was never meant to be permanent, but somehow it ended up sticking around for about two years before I changed it in 2015. I think this was one of my first attempts at using text-shadow and CSS gradients. The "kick ass" button is from kickassapp.com, and you can add it to your own site too!

Long live <marquee> !
Originally, this was just a simple test of the depreciated <marquee> tag, which was used in ancient websites for making scrolling "Breaking News" type banners. Someone in the deviantART chat said "your website looks like shit", or something to that effect, so I immediately changed the images from shapes drawn in MS Paint to this artistic turd drawn by candytrip1. I also just learned how to (mis)use the transform property.
